Our Staff

J. Viggo Dodoo M.Pharm DBA

J. Viggo Dodoo - “Viggo” is the pharmacist and owner of DSD Pharmacy and has been serving as a pharmacist since 1991. A graduate of the KNUST School of Pharmacy in Ghana, Viggo also holds a master’s degree in Pharmaceutics.

He later trained in the art of Pharmaceutical Compounding at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. Viggo went on to complete a Business Essentials course at the Kenan Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Viggo has worked in the retail pharmacy sector in the Charlotte West area for nine years before establishing DSD Pharmacy. As a compounding pharmacist, he has a passion for chemistry and he enjoys providing patients with effective solutions combined with excellent customer service.

Rachel A. Dodoo. B.Pharm Rph.

Rachel is a Pharmacist, co-owner of DSD Pharmacy, and CEO of The RD Collection LLC, an online gift shop. She has 14 years of working experience in hospital pharmacy practice in Ghana and 15 years in Community pharmacy practice in various retail settings in the USA.

Rachel graduated from the University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana, Kumasi, with a B.Pharm Hons Degree. She holds a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy from Robert Gordon University in Scotland, United Kingdom. She is APHA certified in Immunization Delivery and trained in Medication Therapy Monitoring.

Rachel takes care of her patients with outstanding patience and delights in making sure that they stay compliant and get well.

She relocated to the USA with her husband Viggo and has raised three wonderful children whilst working in a retail chain pharmacy store.

Her candles and authentic handmade products add a special touch to the patient experience at DSD Pharmacy that is best described as uplifting.

She loves to walk, hike and play badminton. She also plays the piano for relaxation.
